Netflix Launches In SA
Finally Netflix is here!
After months of speculation, Netflix has officially gone live in 130 countries, including South Africa. Now Netflix is now becoming a worldwide service bringing much needed choice, especially here in SA.
The SA Netflix site went live on Wednesday, 06 January 2016. Watch Netflix on your smartphone, tablet, Smart TV, laptop, or streaming device, all for one fixed monthly fee. Plans range from R49 to R199 a month. No extra costs, no contracts, including a one month free trial. Now South Africans can look forward to uninterrupted, on-demand viewing of movies and popular series such as Suits, Dexter & Weeds.
Netflix aims to reach 200 countries by the end of 2016 and bring quality on-demand entertainment to all.
Time will tell how the South African public uses this awesome new service but at least the market isn’t being hoarded by one broadcaster and we now have many viewing choices.
