The Hottest News This Winter

It’s the news of the month – DSTV Triple View has landed! Many of us, who have heard the news, have been celebrating the launch of the new DSTv service – triple view.  This is just about the hottest news DSTv could have announced this winter – it really is like Christmas in July.

Now that triple view is finally here, we want to give you the lowdown on the latest offer by Multichoice…

Triple view, in essence, has made it possible for customers to watch different live TV shows in three separate rooms at the same time. This is an extention of the XtraView service that DSTv customers have been enjoying for the last few years.  Where previously subscribers were able to view 2 individual channels using 2 decoders, there is now the option to view 3 individual channels using 3 individual decoders.

The good news is with XtraView, DSTv customers only pay one subscription fee plus an R85 Access Fee for each XtraView connection (so two x R85 – the two XtraView access fees).

Mark Rayner, CEO for MultiChoice South Africa commented on this new innovation – “We want to equip our customers to have a great entertainment experience in their homes. The ability to connect three decoders under one subscription gives our customers more flexibility to create a set up that suits their family,” commented.

To get this setup working at your home, you would need to use a DSTv Explora decoder as your primary decoder, and then link any combination of DStv Exploras or DStv HD decoders in to create a 3 decoder setup.
