#HomeAutomation – Keeping up with the Jetsons, 2018 style
I remember as a little girl being entirely obsessed with The Jetsons! They were unbelievably ‘future-ready’ as we call it today, and life seemed so simple. They had gizmos and gadgets for just about every mundane, daily task – most of which were simply too far-fetched to ever be more anything than a fun-filled TV fantasy.
I mean, just imagine owning a vacuum cleaner that magically made its way around your home by itself, while you watched TV, or a home that could be controlled from your watch, from anywhere in the world? As if – but it was fun nonetheless.
But wait, snap back to 2018, and would you believe it, we are virtually all Jetsons! We are living the dream of being able to control our entire lives at the touch of a button. We don’t need to be in the same room, heck, we don’t even need to be in the same country – as long as you live in a #SmartHome, you can operate it from anywhere in the world.
Dim lights, cue music, set your alarm, lock your doors, water your garden – you name it, with #HomeAutomation, your #SmartHome can do it!
I think if we keep up this pace, the Jetsons might be needing to keep up with us!
